As the lead trainer, I delivered lectures, practical demonstrations, supervised hands-on training, clinical guidance, and competency assessments.Participants were introduced to the foundations of Ayurveda, including the concepts of Vata, Pitta, and Kapha, and how these constitutional principles influence treatment planning and oil selection. The training included instruction on the use of base oils, medicated oils, preparation of the treatment environment, client assessment, professional ethics, contraindications, and safety considerations.Practical training focused on the complete full-body Abhyanga sequence, including specialised techniques such as Shiro Abhyanga (Ayurvedic Head Massage), Padabhyanga (Ayurvedic Foot Massage), back massage techniques, and the principles of synchronised four-hand massage. Students also learned the role of Abhyanga within Panchakarma and Ayurvedic daily self-care (Dinacharya). The course included supervised clinical practice sessions designed to build participant confidence, competence, and professional standards.
