Meet Our Team

The CMA is governed and run by a Board. All Board Members are practitioners themselves and where all revenues are reinvested into the association. Working in and being a part of the industry at large themselves, our Board works to operate the association is such a way that is in the best interest of fellow practitioners (and students). Our board of Directors are voluntary and unpaid. Current members of the Board are below.

Kristy Hollis

Kristy Hollis

Kristy has practiced as a naturopath and herbalist in a clinic environment for over 18 years, after initially starting her natural medicine career as a Student Clinic Supervisor at the Australian Institute of Holistic Medicine in Perth.  Today she continues to mentor natural medicine students wherever possible.

Before her naturopathic career, Kristy worked in a variety of laboratories from the research, education, mining, and medical industries.

Kristy has been on the CMA Board for 7 years, serving as Secretary for 4 years before transitioning into the role of President in 2019.  During her time on the Board, she has gained knowledge and insight into the political, educational, and social aspects of the natural medicine industry, by actively participating in many professional alignments including the World Naturopathic Federation, Australian Naturopathic Federation, Australian Naturopathic Council, OneCAM, and Course Advisory Committees for Torrens University and Endeavour College.

Kristy has a passion to build a strong and respected natural medicine industry, which works complementary to orthodox medicine.

Vincent Bowyer

Vincent Bowyer

Previously a Christian Pastor and a Financial Planner, Vincent dived into remedial massage on the suggestion of his wife, who figured she would most benefit. That was in 2003 and marked the creation of their own clinic.

His awe for the connections and workings of the human body have spurred him on through Naturopathy and Western Herbal Medicine. From the start, his focus has been on the treatment of people experiencing chronic pain.

In his clinic he utilises non-invasive biofeedback neuro-stim technology in conjunction with herbal medicine and naturopathy generally.

Vincent was the president of the SCENAR Therapist Association in Australasia from its inauguration in 2005 to 2019 and has been on the CMA Board since 2018.  Vincent is committed to serving with his colleagues in directing the association toward raising complimentary medicine within our Nation.
