CMA Grant Opportunity for Full Members: Advance Your Research and Clinical Skills

The CMA is excited to announce a grant opportunity for all FULL Members

  1. Eligibility: This is open to all Full Members of the CMA, including Naturopaths, Herbalists, Homeopaths, Nutritionists, and Ayurvedic Practitioners, regardless of whether you hold a degree or not.
  2. Focus on Contribution: We encourage candidates to demonstrate a desire to raise this profession’s profile and develop their clinical and research skills, potentially leading to evidence-based research and clinical case studies.
  3. Support for Experienced Members: The initiative is particularly beneficial for seasoned practitioners who may be transitioning towards retirement or looking to explore new directions in their careers.
  4. Skill Development: Successful candidates will gain training in research protocols and methodologies, equipping them to contribute meaningfully to the CMA’s objectives. This will include two online learning weekends in the end January/February 2025 (exact dates tbc).
  5. Formation of Research Project Group: Participants will collaboratively establish the inaugural CMA Research Project Group, which will focus on supporting government submissions and other relevant research projects for the CMA.
  6. Further Educational Opportunities: Participants will receive advanced standing into the Southern Cross University Graduate Certificate or Masters of Advanced Naturopathic Medicine, should they wish to pursue further studies.

Knowledge Sharing: As part of their commitment, candidates will be requested to present their research findings to CMA members, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and professional development within the community.
