Professional Indemnity Insurance is a mandatory requirement for ALL practicing members of the CMA. In this day of ever increasing litigation anyone not affording themselves this protection risks their personal assets if sued. The CMA’s preferred Professional Indemnity Insurance broker is AON, however members may hold insurance cover from any company as long as it meets the minimum coverage requirements by health funds, which is in most cases $1m.
The CMA recommend two insurers in particular; AON Insurance and Insurance House.
